Currents is a new website section, accessible from throughout the new site, devoted to community news and opportunities.
Community Announcements (FREE)
We welcome announcements by MER contributors, community (email list) members, and subscribers, of their own new publications and free readings and events. Announcements will be published on our website monthly. There is no fee for publishing announcements. Please input your announcement (in third person, no more than sixty words of text and one hyperlink, if desired), on this form:

Deadline for copy is the first of each month for publication on the fifteenth of the month.
Highlights Listings
We offer enhanced Highlight listings of publications, arts-related events (such as readings and workshops), professional services, and arts-related and mom-related merchandise of interest to our readers, on our website in the Currents section. Highlights listings can have up to 200 words of text and a photo. More details below.
Format:
Each listing may contain up to 200 words of text (including a main heading and optional subheading), up to two photos of at least 600 x 350 pixels, in .jpg or .gif format, and up to two hyperlinks.
If you wish to submit a display ad already formatted, please make sure it is at least 580 pixels wide and no more than 700 pixels in length.
Listings will be displayed blog style in posting order on our Currents page, which is accessible from all pages of the website. Listings will remain active for at least three months.
Deadlines:
All copy by the first of the month for publication on the 15th.
